History

International Gypsy Fest 2011

The festival was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Iveta Radičová, Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Human Rights and Minorities Rudolf Chmel and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic for Roma pepople Miroslav Pollak. The festival traditionally supported media Slovak Television (STV News, TV trailers) and Radio Expres (radio spot, interview). 

The festival  made  artist Ricardo Kwiek - Germany, Abesinski Biseri - Bulgaria,  Don Vasy a Gypsy Stars - Poland, the National Folklore Ensemble  "Sunny  Radvanka  -  Ukraine, Romens - Czech Republic, Martin Bies   and  Flamenco Clan - Slovakia / Spain, Sabrosa - Slovakia. The  fourth  year is in addition to the gala exhibition of photographs Brazilian and Slovak Roma. Gala saw 1000 spectators in the audience. Television recording aired Slovak Television.

International Gypsy Fest 2010

The festival is held under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Gasparovic. The event made ​​the artists from 10 countries worldwide. The events reported most Slovak media: Slovak Television, Radio Expres and others. Foreign media: CNN. ARTIST´S: Esma Redžepova - Macedonia, Embaixada Cigana do Brasil - Brazil, Zingaros - Argentina/ Spain, Jan Bendig - Czech Republic, Kmetoband - Slovak Republic, Romanca - Poland, Karavan Familia - Hungary, Katjusha Kozubek a Romano Swing - Germany/ Poland, Superstar orkestar - Sweden.

The Fest is moral supported by Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Dusan Caplovic and the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Marek Madaric. During the Gala program the bands: Hungary/ Slovakia - Monika Rigo, Poland - Perla i Bracia, Czech Republic - Vera Bila, Rosen Trio &, Germany - Ricardo Kwiek, Austria - DelaDap, Bulgaria - Shukaripe, Serbia - Duvacki orkestar Kristali and Slovakia - Bohemiens, Khamoro will performe.

International Gypsy Fest 2008

The Fest is moral supported by Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Dusan Caplovic and the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Marek Madaric. During the Gala program the bands from Hungary - Flare Beas Band, Czech Republic - Gipsy.cz and Slovak Republic - Sendreiovci a Kokavakere lavutara will performe.
